CSK vs Royals: Both the Teams will look to turn the tables

By user_holub On Oct 19, 2020

Both Chennai super kings and Rajasthan royals are in similar circumstances and both need to find their winning ways to keep their hopes alive for playoffs. So today it will be an interesting encounter which determines who can emerge as victorious and move ahead in the tournament. Both the teams are in a similar position with only three wins out of nine games and both the teams need their wicket-keeper batsmen to fire and few of the batsmen need to find their form. Also, both of them are coming from the close defeats in their previous match. Rajasthan royals batting looks more promising as the promotion of Uthappa has worked well for them and their captain has finally found some form with a half-century. Sanju Samson continues to look out of shorts but team management might want to persist with him as if he can find form then he will be unstoppable. Jofra Archer and Jaydev Unadkat have been in fine rhythm and it’s time for ben stokes to find some form with both bat and ball. Shreyas Gopal and Rahul Dewatia are bowling well but you need a world-class to assist with them. They are capable of playing second fiddle and also they are leaking runs in the crucial juncture of the match every time. So it’s time for Rajasthan Royals to regroup and play up to their potential. If they click as a unit they are the force to reckon with.

For super kings, their fielding has been their major point of concern for them. Changing the batting order also working well and Rayudu is finding the consistency. Major revelation is the Ravindra Jadeja’s red hot form with the bat. He is injecting much-needed firepower in their middle order which is helping them to post a competitive total.it’s time for dhoni to replace Bravo with Tahir as the pitches start fading down a bit and offer lots of resistance to spin bowlers. Dhoni’s form with the bat is the major point of concern he is still yet to register his first fifty in the tournament. He is failing when the team needs him the most. If he finds some form it would be great to treat for CSK Fans. Deepak Chahar has done reasonably well in powerplays and Shrudul Thakur has bowled so far well and picking wickets at regular intervals. Royals might think to replace Shreyas Gopal with Mayank Markande. Curran’s ability to swing the ball during the powerplays and his ability to do a role as floater will be the best option for CSK to keep the scoreboard ticking. Shane Watson and du Plessis are at their best. CSK is the much better side now but they need to be more cautious about their bowling and fielding which will be helpful for them to end this season on high. It’s time for their misfiring spinners to hit the pitch hard and find some form

Expected playing XI:
